[Infographic] Key Principles of Lean Manufacturing
In Lean Six Sigma, it is all about the customer. They define the quality they expect from your product or service. The day-to-day processes should only consist of what brings value to your product or service, and that is determined by your customer.
Remember, anything that doesn’t bring value to your product or service is considered waste. An example would be if in your business process, the packaging used is so secure it is difficult to open. You believe that your customer likes the reinforcement, but in fact, they don’t. This would be considered waste and you must eliminate it.
Let’s look at the key principles of Lean manufacturing in this simple, easy to follow infographic.
